This week’s tarbiyya classes were focused on wudhu (abolution). In the first class we carried out several activities with the students to help them understand the wajib (compulsory) and mustahab (recommended) steps of wudhu, as well as presenting them with a number of situations and discussing whether one is required to do wudhu.

The book they have been given to take home this week talks about the concept of wudhu. Apart from sitting down with your child and reading through it, please could you also do the following: there is a power parenting page to read and discuss with your children, and a recommended dua to recite while doing wudhu – please also go through this.
